Mean Duck is a piney, floral hop forward pale ale. With an amber color and moderate strength, it bridges the gap between lager and IPA -- full of flavor but not too heavy. 

backstory

We came up with the Mean Duck name during a late night, beer-fueled brainstorming session, and thought it was a perfect match for a Bellefonte-based beer.

Local artist Jim Dippery created the hand-drawn duck for our logo. Below are a few of his draft designs.

Mean Duck has an association with both Tallyrand Park and its famous ducks, and of course with the Mann Axe legacy!
